Practice

Four practices. One per vertex. Each develops a specific capacity.

Four practices. One per vertex. Each develops a specific capacity. These are not exercises—they are the smallest unit of genuine work at each vertex.

Differentiation
State one position you actually hold, in one sentence, to someone who doesn’t already agree. Notice what happens in your body when you say it. The center that holds is not the one that never moves—it’s the one that knows where it is while moving.
Builds: the capacity to maintain coherent position through contact. Addresses: Dissolved failure mode.
Pioneer — this is identity work. Before exchange, before limits, before building: know what this is.
Connection
Identify one exchange from this week where something actually landed—where you or the other person changed, even slightly. What made it genuine rather than performed? The difference between listening and the moment something lands is the difference between contact and its performance.
Builds: the capacity for exchange where both systems update. Addresses: Isolated failure mode.
Early — exchange requires another system. This practice only works when tested with real contact.
Boundaries
Name one limit you are currently hiding. Say it as information, not as apology. “I can do this but not that” is data. “Sorry, I just can’t” is shame wearing a limit’s clothing. Constraints are generative. The sonnet form doesn’t restrict poetry—it generates poems free verse cannot.
Builds: the capacity to make limits visible as information. Addresses: Overflowing failure mode.
Mid — self-correction requires visible limits. Without them, the system cannot regulate without the founder.
Architecture
Write down what of your current work would still function if you disappeared tomorrow. The gap between what you intend to persist and what actually would—that’s your development edge. Not expression. Deployment. What you build for the person standing where you stood.
Builds: the capacity to create what persists beyond any single exchange. Addresses: Ephemeral failure mode.
Climax → Pioneer — architecture is what propagates. What persists into the next cycle is the seed instance.
